Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika (Menkominfo) Johnny G Plate menyatakan Panitia Seleksi Rekrutmen Calon Anggota Komisi Infomasi Pusat (KIP) Periode 2021-2025 sudah menyelesaikan tahapan seleksi dan hasilnya telah diajukan kepada Presiden. Presiden juga telah mengirimkan nama-nama calon Komisioner KIP kepada Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia (DPR RI).

Untuk selanjutnya, fit and proper test akan dilakukan oleh Komisi I DPR RI. “Terkait fit and proper test, hal itu akan dilakukan DPR RI. Jadi kita tunggu saja dari DPR,” ujar Menkominfo di Gedung Nusantara II DPR RI, Jakarta Selatan, Selasa (18/01/2022). Demikian rilis Kemenkominfo yang dikutip KI Online dari laman resmi kominfo.go.id.

Lebih lanjut Menteri Johnny juga menegaskan bahwa proses seleksi anggota KIP berlangsung secara terbuka. “Semua proses seleksi dilaksanakan secara terbuka, semuanya terbuka,” imbuhnya.

Masih berdasarkan rilis tersebut, Ketua Panitia Seleksi yang juga Direktur Jenderal Informasi dan Komunikasi Publik Kementerian Kominfo, Usman Kansong, menyatakan panitia seleksi telah menyelesaikan seluruh tahapan seleksi sesuai dengan Keputusan Menkominfo Nomor 407 Tahun 2021 tentang Pedoman Rekrutmen Calon Anggota Komisi Informasi Pusat Periode 2021-2025.

“Pansel sudah menyelesaikan tahapan pengumuman, seleksi administratif, penulisan makalah, asesmen, rekam jejak, wawancara, hingga menetapkan nama-nama calon,” jelasnya.

Pada Jumat (3/12/2021), Panitia Seleksi Rekrutmen Calon Anggota Komisi Informasi Pusat Periode 2021– 2025 yang diketuai Usman Kansong dan beranggotakan Philip Gobang, Ahmad M. Ramli, Hikmahanto Juwana, Slamet Soedarsono, Ninok Leksono dan Abdul Malik Gismar, telah menetapkan 21 nama calon anggota Komisi Informasi Pusat periode 2021-2025.

Nama calon anggota KIP periode 2021-2025 yang telah disampaikan oleh Presiden kepada DPR RI berdasarkan abjad adalah sebagai berikut:
